Summary
In 2009, the Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES) released the first voluntary, national rating system for sustainable land design and development. A sustainable site can provide essential services that actually improve environmental quality rather than simply minimizing the damage to natural systems. This presentation will provide an update on the revolutionary SITES pilot program.
