Summary
The street, now solely a vehicular artery, used to facilitate social interaction and commerce as well as transportation. All across the country, people are finding ways to reclaim streets as public spaces for their community. Pop Up street improvement projects allow cities to experience improved streets for a limited time and motivate real change.
