Summary
This screening, "An Evening with 100 Places to Remember," presents stunningly beautiful photos of places around the globe that are seriously threatened by climate change. Featuring the work of renowned Getty Images photographers, the project began as a major outdoor exhibition in Copenhagen. For SXSW Eco, 50 of the images will be presented in video form accompanied by narration describing the effect of climate change on each place. This special evening screening will also feature commentary by prominent Austinites, including Mayor Lee Leffingwell and former Mayor Will Wynn.
The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is located directly across the street (Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.) from the AT&T Center and the Blanton Museum. Screening is in the Texas Spirit Theater (second level). Cash bar reception from 8 - 8:30 PM. Please note: 100 seats are reserved for SXSW Eco Badge holders; you must arrive by 8:15 for the 8:30 screening.
