Summary

#DPDAN

Communities across the country are clamoring for help to make smart choices on how to be more attractive, equitable and sustainable. Shrinking budgets limit those communities’ ability to hire specific expertise, and turn to the public and non-profit sector for assistance. The Design/Planning/Development Assistance Network (DPDAN) represents many of these assistance-providers: the American Architectural Foundation, Urban Land Institute, National League of Cities, and Environmental Protection Agency. Panelists representing these groups will share the range of available assistance programs, discuss the ever evolving state of design assistance, and share examples of community collaboration.
