Summary

Place by Design’s Resilience + Health category features projects and initiatives that improve public health through design, and contribute to a more adaptive, resilient world. These projects rethink many intersections of health and the built environment, from where we are born to what happens after we are gone. The design processes similarly run the gamut, from centuries old building techniques to restoring an urban waterway. See the six Finalists present their work to the Jury in this fast-paced, fun pitch competition celebrating the transformative potential of creative place-based design.
