Quick Bio

Jeffrey Plank is Associate Vice President for Research. He coordinates the identification, conceptualization, and implementation of institution-wide research initiatives, including the pan-University sustainability institute. Plank leads the UVA Bay Game project, an innovative participatory simulation that demonstrates how digital and social media can motivate personal and collective behavior change for environmental conservation.
