Anjali is Director of Public Engagement at JUST Capital, a nonprofit that measures corporate performance on the issues that matter most to Americans, as well as an independent artist. At JUST Capital, she is responsible for public engagement programs and strategy, designed to help consumers contribute to a more JUST economy through their purchasing and employment decisions. Previous to JUST Capital, Anjali was Director of Knowledge & Communications at Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), where she managed marketing, communications, and thought leadership, including NFF's Annual Nonprofit Survey. She has held a variety of positions in the social sector, working as a writer at LaPlaca Cohen, a marketing firm specializing in services to cultural institutions, and serving as an Americorps Vista volunteer at the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance.
Anjali received her BA from Amherst College and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is a Fulbright Scholar in Fine Arts, a recipient of the Queens Council on the Arts commissioning grant for public art, and a Pushcart Prize nominee for short fiction.
