Quick Bio

Rowan Roderick-Jones is an ecological engineer at Arup in San Francisco and holds an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. As a leader of Arup’s water practice in the US, Rowan plans and designs project solutions for integrated surface water, wastewater, water supply, and ecological systems. Rowan’s research at Arup has included development of the Water and Energy Resource Characterization Model, Topup, a tool for right-sizing rainwater harvesting systems, and most recently WeatherShift, an application used for projecting localized future climate conditions including rainfall intensity, duration and frequency.
