Quick Bio

Reshma Singh is a Program Manager for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Building Technologies and Urban Systems Division with over 10 years of experience advancing initiatives on clean energy and climate change. Reshma serves as Program Director of the Department of Energy’s Center for Building Energy Research and Development (CBERD) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. She facilitates this program to drive the development of innovative energy efficiency building tools and technologies while engaging with a complex joint U.S.-India stakeholder ecosystem.

Reshma’s research interest lies at the intersection of design and technology. Her current work is in the arena of building energy information systems towards advances in smart buildings, and on the development of best practices for high-performance buildings. She has also taught graduate seminars on architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and on sustainable communities at the University of California, Berkeley.

Reshma serves as an Impact Advisor for Department of State’s TechWomen initiative and is an elected member of the TechWomen Council. Reshma holds a Masters degree from Harvard University, a Bachelors degree in Architecture from New Delhi, India. She is a LEED accredited professional and certified project management professional (PMP).
