Quick Bio

Eric Noe is senior vice president of digital programming at Participant Media, and editor-in-chief of (, Participant's digital magazine.

Prior to joining Participant, Noe was the managing editor of ABC News Digital, where he spent 10 years, covering three presidential elections and breaking news events including Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, the Bin Laden assassination, the Boston Marathon bombings, and others. He was awarded at Peabody for ABC's coverage of Hurricane Sandy in 2013, and an Edward R. Murrow Award for general excellence in 2014. During his time at ABC, Noe also helped launch the ABC News-Yahoo digital partnership.

Noe's journalism experience includes stints at Reuters, where he covered business and commodities news and helped manage the Reuters Midwest coverage desk in Chicago, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, his hometown newspaper, where he worked as a suburban bureau reporter and later as an editor. He is a graduate of Emory University and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
