Energy Foundry - Vice President
Patrick has more than nine years of experience in the energy industry with a background that includes positions in investment banking, renewable energy development, and project management.
Prior to joining Energy Foundry, Patrick worked at Marathon Capital, a renewable energy focused investment bank based in Chicago. While at Marathon, Patrick worked on several M&A transactions, capital raises, and project financings. Notable transactions include the sale of Hudson Clean Energy’s portfolio company Element Power US to Capital Power and the sale of the solar developer HelioSage Energy to Coronal-Panasonic.
Prior to his career in investment banking, Patrick was living and studying for his MBA in London. While in London, Patrick actively assisted early-stage ventures through strategy consulting engagements. The ventures he assisted include: Sustainable Venture Development, Honest Buildings, Stem, and Sustainable Development Capital. Patrick also spent several years in the wind industry developing utility scale projects in the Midwest (one project was acquired by Exelon, the other was acquired by Apex Clean Energy) as well as working for Walgreens’ real estate development arm where he evaluated hundreds of building technologies.
Patrick received a MBA from the London Business School and a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
